Chicago Firefighter Mashawn Plummer remains very critical at Loyola Medical Center from injuries suffered at the recent fire on Marmora. He is 30 years old and came on the job about a year ago. Firefighter Plummer is being treated at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Plummer was injured while fighting that fire Thursday at a two-story building just after 0200 in the 3100 block of North Marmora Avenue. Plummer had just celebrated his one-year anniversary with the department. Keep him and his family in your prayers.
