A bad guy has been booked in the Monterey County (Calif) Jail after deputies say he broke into a mobile home, vandalized property, assaulted a witness, and spit blood into the mouth of a firefighter just after 1700 on New Years day.
Monterey County Sheriff Deputies say David Anthony Chavez broke into a mobile home through a glass door and then assaulted the homeowner. The mobile home ended up catching on fire during the altercation. Deputies say Chavez then ran from the mobile home and assaulted a 54 year old witness multiple times. Once cops caught Chavez and FF’s began treating him for his injuries, he spit blood into the mouth of a firefighter. The firefighter was treated for the exposure at a nearby hospital.
