We regret to pass on that a Cleveland County (North Carolina) Paramedic died in the Line of Duty, and another was hurt after their ambulance flipped in Gaston County on this morning.
The wreck happened around 0800 on July 6, on Highway 74, near the I-85 ramps close to the Gaston-Cleveland County line.
Initial unconfirmed reports are that the ambulance was moving, but was struck from behind, causing it to flip and the Paramedic getting ejected.
