ALTOONA, Iowa — A multi-vehicle crash has closed a section of the shoulder on Interstate 80 eastbound near Altoona on Monday evening.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the left shoulder between U.S. 65 and Exit 142 was blocked as of 7:30 p.m.
The Iowa State Patrol says five vehicles are involved in the crash, including an ambulance. Injuries are also being reported.
