BANGALORE: Two people including an engineering student and a part-time employee of Infosys died in two different road accidents.
Physiotherapist Jyotsana Nayar of Infosys succumbed to her injuries after an ambulance rammed the two-wheeler she was riding pillion in Electronics City traffic limits on Friday evening. Her husband Angad Nayar escaped with minor injuries.
The accident took place around 5.15pm on the elevated bridge. "An ambulance rammed into their vehicle from behind. She was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital where she died around 8.30 pm" Electronics City traffic police said. The body was shifted to Victoria Hospital for an autopsy on Saturday.
