Two FDNY EMS members were robbed at gunpoint after responding to a call for help at a Brooklyn apartment building. The unsuspecting medics went to 330 Frost St. in East Williamsburg around 0240 hours this morning (Saturday) after getting a run about someone with a “medical condition” at the 7-floor, 56 unit city-owned Cooper Park Houses.
When they got to the sixth floor, they were met by a man with a gun who took their Tac bags and radios. The robber fled the scene and the EMS personnel were not harmed.
This heist was the second time in a week that EMTs have been held up in Brooklyn during a fake 911 call.
