As of this morning, the ability for Firefighters in the United States to register on the National Firefighter Registry has been shut down. While the site itself remains open, Firefighters can no longer register. As asked for by ALL FIRE SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, the system was funded by Congress under the previous administration (HR 3821). The bill passed the House on March 6, 2024, by a vote of 413-7, and was passed into law. Here is more:
