2 FIREFIGHTERS KILLED-Spain-Underground Garage-Elec. Car-Videos, NJ FF’s Close Call (The Secret List)

All,

We regret to pass on that 2 Firefighters were killed in the Line of Duty and 15 others were injured in a fire at a garage in Alcorcón, Madrid, today, Wednesday. The fire occurred in an underground parking garage and, according to initial investigations, may have been caused by the explosion of an electric car.
We have videos below showing the conditions and rescuing of members.

It occurred while fighting that fire that broke out in the garage of a building in the Madrid region town of Alcorcón – and the fire origin appears to be an electric car.

Initial investigations indicate that the first of the deceased Firefighters was caught in a blast caused by a fire in an electric car that had crashed when its owner was driving it into the “barely ventilated” garage. The second Firefighter died from the inhalation of fumes and all the injured and deceased were members of the Alcorcón fire brigade.
