MAN THROWS SODA CAN AT ALABAMA AMBULANCE

A scary situation for an ambulance crew and patient unfolded early Monday in Marshall County.

The sheriff’s office says a Marshall Medical Center ambulance was taking a patient to Decatur around 1 a.m. when another driver threw a full can of soda at the ambulance, smashing its windshield.

The incident happened on Union Grove Road.

The ambulance was able to stop and thankfully no one was injured, according to a Marshall Medical Center spokesperson.

Officials said another ambulance was sent to pick up the patient.

Deputies took a report, but no arrests have been made.

The ambulance has been sent for repairs.
