All,
This Week: November 18-22, 2024
Crash Responder Safety Week (CRSW) is an opportunity to make a difference individually and jointly for roadway safety during traffic incidents by teaching each other and the motoring public about our common goal and responsibility for safe, quick clearance.
The goal of Crash Responder Awareness Week is to reach out to every emergency responder, every driver, and every passenger, to educate them in how to play their part in ensuring safe responses at roadway incident scenes. More details are available from the National Operations Center of Excellence.
The 2024 CRSW theme is “Responders Ahead! Reduce Your Speed As You Proceed.” The daily themes are:
- Monday 11/18: Responders Ahead! Reduce Your Speed as You Proceed
- Tuesday 11/19: Driver Education
- Wednesday 11/20: Responder Training
- Thursday 11/21: More Than a Crash
- Friday 11/22: Slow Down, Move Over
The CRSW Outreach Toolkit will help you with public education and social media messaging
A National Kickoff Webinar for the week is Monday, November 18 at 1PM ET. You can become a CRSW Ally in Action to showcase the steps your organization is taking to promote CRSW and improve the safety of responders and road users.
The Emergency Responder Safety Institute is an official partner and supporter of Crash Responder Safety Week.
