A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a paramedic and ambulance crew were shot at with plastic pellets while they were treating a patient.
Crews were called to Watts Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, where a man had fallen from a lorry on 3 December.
Paramedic Allan Norman, who was wearing a crash helmet, was first on the scene but was shot at along with colleagues who later arrived. None was injured.
The boy was held on suspicion of common assault and released on bail.
Ambulance staff continued to treat their patient and he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
