ALABAMA FF KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY AT DWELLING FIRE (The Secret List)

A 24 year old Firefighter from Crossville (AL) was killed in the Line of Duty this afternoon while performing a search in a single family dwelling fire. Initial reports are that FF Cody Renfroe entered the structure to apparently do a search and found later by other Firefighters. One report from the scene is that it was thought there was a person in the residence (that person did escape)…FF Renfroe went to perform a search…but when the other Firefighters got the fire knocked down, they discovered him and pulled him out, LODD. One other report states that he may have been missing for up to an hour. We have posted some pictures on our FireFighterCloseCalls.com home page and will provide more details as they become available.

As always our deepest condolences to all affected by the loss of FF Cody Renfroe.

Take Care-BE CAREFUL.
