Terrible news out of Worcester (MA) this morning following a multi-alarm residential fire. Initial reports are that a WFD Firefighter has died in the Line of Duty after becoming trapped while operating at the multi-alarm fire early this morning.
Initial reports are that the Firefighter was trapped inside the Lowell Street building for an extended period of time before other Firefighters could find and rescue him. There are reports of at least one other Firefighter being injured.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the Line of Duty death of Worcester firefighter Jon D. Davies Sr., who died fighting an apartment fire in Worcester on Dec. 8, 2011. Dec. 3 was the anniversary of the Worcester Cold Storage Fire, which claimed the lives of six Worcester Firefighters in the Line of Duty.
