Woman dies after ambulance crash – Florida

ACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman who was involved in an accident with an ambulance has died from her injuries.

Police say the crash happened on Friday, July 20 at 12:45 p.m.when an ambulance entered an intersection on San Jose Boulevard with the emergency lights on and slammed into the driver’s side of another vehicle.

The driver in that car, Anneliese Belzer, was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.

Investigators say the ambulance went through a red light, and the case is still under investigation.
