SHOCKING CRASH SCENE VIDEO
Once again we are reminded that ROADWAY INCIDENTS are the greatest chance we have in getting hurt or killed on this job.
The night of Feb. 23, 2023, a heavy-duty tow truck towing a box truck crashed into an earlier crash scene on Interstate 80 in Allamuchy Township, Warren County, N.J.
Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad, Allamuchy Fire Department and NJ State Police vehicles were damaged. Troopers were outside of the vehicles struck and were unhurt, but an EMT inside the ambulance reported a minor injury.
The left and center lanes were closed with flares and New Jersey State Police vehicles as emergency crews worked, but a tow truck towing a box truck traveled into the scene, crashing into three NJSP vehicles, the ambulance and the fire apparatus. The responding troopers were outside of the three vehicles that were struck and were unhurt, but an EMT inside the Allamuchy-Green First Aid Squad ambulance reported a minor injury, state police previously said.
Take Care. Be Careful. Pass It On.
