On July 23rd, 1459 hours Weyers Cave Volunteer Fire Company in Augusta County, Virginia, Engine 53, a 2008 KME Rescue Engine, was sitting in front of the station on the concrete apron. A vehicle that was driving northbound on Keezletown Road lost control, ran off the roadway, and struck our parked engine. The impact of the crash moved the engine almost 6 feet. Thankfully, there were no injuries. Engine 53 has sustained significant damage.
