A passenger van and a Newberg ambulance collided in Beaverton Thursday afternoon, causing congestion in the area.
Multiple Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue units responded to the crash at Scholls Ferry Road and Southwest Barrows Road in Beaverton. Treated on-scene and transported were the driver of the passenger van, two Newberg Medics and the patient in the ambulance. Multiple Metro West ambulance units and public safety agencies are also on scene. LifeFlight was also activated.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area due to possible congestion and closed roads. Beaverton Police will be investigating the crash.
