PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) — The husband of a firefighter injured in last month’s fire and explosion at Robbins Lumber in Searsmont is providing a new update on his wife’s recovery.
Paul Paige shared a photo of his wife, Katherine Paige, over the weekend, saying she was having a great day, sitting up, enjoying lunch, and talking with friends and family.
She also received a visit from the Red Knights Firefighter Motorcycle Club, which delivered a quilt from this week’s Yankee Rally.

Katherine Paige is a volunteer firefighter and was among the 12 people injured in the blast.
Paul Paige told CBS13 that Katherine is waiting for her next surgery to be scheduled.
