UPDATE/RADIO TRAFFIC: DOUBLE LODD IN PENNSYLVANIA KILLS 2 STATE TROOPERS, 1 WAS AN AREA FIRE CHIEF.

As you know, Pennsylvania State Police 33-year-old Trooper Martin F. Mack and 29-year-old Trooper Branden T. Sisca were responding to a call of a man walking along I-95 in Philadelphia just before 0100. As they were attempting to put the man into custody, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck and killed all three men. The woman driving that vehicle is suspected as D.U.I.
Trooper Sisca, who was also Chief of the Trappe Fire Company, Montgomery County, leaves behind his wife, an unborn child and his parents. Trooper Mack was married with two children and lived in Bristol Township, Bucks County. Sisca and Mack were both organ and tissue donors.

Here is some of the radio traffic involving this morning’s double LODD of two PA State Police Troopers.
NOTE: While we normally don’t post non-fire/EMS LODD’s, this hits close to home for all of us as Trooper Branden Sisca was also a Fire Chief-but BOTH Troopers risked their lives on the highway-which fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Tow and Highway personnel do everyday.
Rest In Peace.
