UPDATE: FIREFIGHTER TRAPPED AND BURNED AT NEW HAMPSHIRE COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE FIRE

Hooksett Firefighter and Local 3264 member Jesse Gayer was injured while operating at a 3rd Alarm structure fire in Hooksett. last week. He was trapped inside Mow Town Power Equipment during that three-alarm fire. The garage door came down and trapped him inside the fire area. Another Firefighter injured his shoulder trying to save the trapped firefighter. A third Firefighter from Manchester suffered a concussion when an explosion knocked him to the ground near a building entryway.

Jesse suffered second and third degree burns to approximately 15% of his body and received treatment at Hospitals in Manchester and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. We are pleased to report that Jesse is doing well and is currently home resting and recuperating. Jesse and the membership of Hooksett Fire-Rescue and Local 3264 would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has expressed kind thoughts and offered assistance.

In lieu of flowers a relief fund has been established for Jesse. Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so at any TD Bank; the fund name is Jeremy Doyle-Jesse Gayer Relief Fund and the account number is 9243516717. Anyone wishing to send Jesse a card may do so at the following address:
