TOLEDO, OHIO FIRE CHIEF INJURED IN HIT & RUN CRASH – COLORADO

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Fire and Rescue Chief Allison Armstrong was hurt in a hit-and-run crash while out of state for a firefighter conference.

Armstrong posted on social media Saturday that she suffered “significant injuries” from a crash on Friday night.

She explained that another driver hit her vehicle and pushed it into a concrete barrier wall. That at-fault driver allegedly took off from the scene and was later arrested.

“Thank God it wasn’t worse. Thanks to everyone that has helped me and reached out. It will be a difficult few weeks or months,” Armstrong said in a post.
