Three firefighters with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department were injured Wednesday following a crash on Interstate 95 southbound near Emerson Street, according to the fire department.
Two of the firefighters are at home recovering while the third is expected to be released from the hospital after their vehicle flipped while they were on their way to a call, JFRD Chief Keith Powers said.
Powers said the fire truck and another vehicle collided. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
