Many of you have purchased and read the books Pass It On 1, 2, and 3. We raised Tens of Thousands of dollars for the named charities.
The latest book project, “30 Fires You Must Know” (also available as an e-book) is similar in that it was decided by myself and my compadre Frank Leeb, and all of our contributors, that this will be a charity fundraiser.
I am thrilled to pass on to you that we recently sent checks to:
The Chief Ray Downey Scholarship
The Tunnels to Towers Foundation
The First Responder Center of Excellence
The Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
From last Fall when the book was made available, until March of this year (just 6 months!), we raised enough money to send “your money” to the above charities, who have since received $9,400.00 each.
Here is a story written by our partners at The Firefighter Cancer Support Network:
*****FATHER’S DAY GIFT*****
With Father’s Day next weekend, it is NOT too late to purchase copies of the book as a great gift to the “fatherly” Firefighter in your life. Probably the FASTEST way to order the book at the following sites:
Again-thanks to everyone of you who has purchased the book. And thanks to those that will in the future. We are seeing individual purchases, but also for graduating firefighter classes, college-level fire programs, rookie schools, promotional gifts and much more-and we couldn’t be more appreciative.
Clearly, there will be more checks being sent in the near future! Thanks to you.
Take Care. Be Careful. Pass It On.
