Funeral services have been announced for Maxwell (Texas) Assistant Chief Jonathon Coco and his brother, Firefighter Hunter Coco, who were both killed in the Line of Duty in a traffic crash last Monday while returning from a wildfire on Texas Highway 20 outside of Lockhart, Texas.
A public visitation will be held June 25, 2022, at Zoeller Funeral Home located at 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas, 78130 at 6pm until 8pm. Staging for the apparatus procession will be at 12:30 located at Martindale Baptist Church 12351 TX-142, Martindale, Texas 78655. Their funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 2pm at the Gerry Ohlendorff Performing Arts Center which is located at the Lockhart High School at 906 Center Street, Lockhart, Texas, 78644. A reception will follow at the Lockhart High School Cafeteria.

TWO MORE FDNY MEMBERS DIE FROM 9/11 RELATED DiSEASE
The FDNY has suffered two more 9/11-related deaths in recent days. Retired EMT Steven Thorsen, who served at Station 23, died Sunday from a World Trade Center-related illness, according to the FDNY Family Assistance Unit. Thorsen served the FDNY for 27 years.
Fire Medical Officer Dr. Sabina Ostolski, who was with the Bureau of Health Services, died of a WTC illness on June 10.. Ostolski served with the FDNY for four years. On Sept. 11, 2001, she was working as a physician at New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
