Emergency crews responding to a Cumberland County crash needed help of their own, when live power lines fell on top of their ambulance.
At least 2 people were inside the Mechanicsburg ambulance when the wires fell, but they stayed grounded and didn’t move until PPL cut the power, so they weren’t hurt.
Officials say the driver involved in the crash wasn’t inside the ambulance at the time, but was flown to an area hospital.
