Successful bidder must provide condoms in the customized packaging as specified
in items 2.2.1 thru 2.2.5 below. No exceptions will be accepted by the City of
Philadelphia.
2.2.1 Condom’s Specifications:
Applied Standard: ASTM D 3492-08
Surface Texture: Smooth surface
Shape: See figure below.
Color: Natural (no color pigment)
Lubricant: Silicone oil, 300 ± 50 mg. (Lot Average)
Test result of “lubricant’s quantity dosed out
into foil” (refers to lubricant applied to
condom/wrapper) is done at manufacturer’s
process control activities.
