KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) — Police say two trucks collided Wednesday evening, leading to major traffic delays along Lens Creek Road.
Investigators say two trucks hit head-on in Hernshaw. Then, somehow a Boone County Ambulance also got hit.
One person was killed in the crash. Three people were taken to the hospital, including a patient that was in the back of the ambulance.
Police say Lens Creek Road near Bell Cove Road will remain closed for the next couple of hours.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) — One person is dead after a three vehicle crash on Lens Creek Road in Hernshaw.
The crash happened near the intersection of Bell Cove Road just before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com three vehicles were involved in the accident, including a Boone County Ambulance. A patient was being transported in the ambulance.
Dispatchers say one person died on scene and rescue crews had to help two trapped patients.
At this time, Lens Creek Road is closed near Bell Cove Road.
