All,
A Firefighter died in the Line of Duty early this morning while operating at a structure fire in north central Pennsylvania. The fire was in a 500′ x 50′ farm building on Parthemer Road in West Beaver Township (Snyder County). A member of the Beavertown Rescue Hose Company lost their life. We will post additional details here later.
NOTE: Beavertown Rescue Hose just lost their beloved “senior man” this past week. Paul T. Saylor “Popeye” who was a lifelong member spent many endless hours spanning over 50 years volunteering as a Firefighter, EMS driver and cooking for his Rescue Hose Company #20, in Beavertown. He liked to call himself “chief cook and bottle washer.” Our condolences to Rescue Hose on the loss of both these members. Rest In peace.
