A Lorain man was arrested Nov. 14 for allegedly assaulting a police officer and an EMS worker.
Mark Krajeski Jr. has been charged with assault on a police officer and medical personnel, both fourth-degree felonies, according to a police report.
Officers responded at 10:40 p.m. to the 800 block of West 29th Street for a fight that broke out when Krajeski put his hands on a woman during a party. Other party attendees came to the woman’s aid and pushed Krajeski to the ground where he passed out.
Officers and EMS attempted to assist Krajeski, who was intoxicated, but he started to resist. He was eventually restrained and taken to Mercy Health – Lorain Hospital.
While in the hospital emergency room, Krajeski attempted to hit an EMS worker with an uppercut, but only hit his hat. A police officer saw this and pinned Krajeski down. Krajeski then punched the officer, the report said.
Mercy nurses and security stepped in and were able to put Krajeski into restraints.
He was taken to Lorain County Jail where he will be held pending an appearance in Lorain Municipal Court.
