This is a video from Xenia (Ohio) and demonstrates some emerging attitudes toward firefighter safety. The Fire Chief is very cost conscious, but it shows that no matter how some attempt to educate the elected city hall dwellers, sometimes they simply just don’t care. It is very clear in some of their voices. Lots of "prejudice" here resulting in negative attitudes. They also recently laid off FF’s, creating what will probably become a FD that initially will only be able to operate defensive, until more help arrives.
