NORTH CAROLINA ENGINE STRUCK ON THE HIGHWAY

While responding to a Motor Vehicle Accident tonight on Highway 74, the Laurinburg Fire Department’s engine, which was providing traffic control for our responders, was struck by a motorist who failed to move over. Fortunately, none of the responders were injured, and our thoughts are with the family in the vehicle. Please use this incident as a reminder to exercise caution and move over when approaching any emergency scene, as our members are performing their duties.
