OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – A two-vehicle rollover crash involving an ambulance injured four people in northern Kent County Monday, April 5.
A Ford Explorer heading east on 14 Mile Road NE crashed into a westbound Montcalm County ambulance near Lincoln Lake Road shortly after 10 p.m., witnesses told Michigan State Police.
The ambulance, transporting a patient at the time of the crash, fell onto its side. The patient, a driver and a medical responder were brought Spectrum Butterworth hospital with minor injuries.
A Greenville woman, 39, was pinned inside the SUV and needed to be extricated. She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to a Michigan State Police news release.
