HALETHORPE, Md. (WBFF) — One firefighter is injured and one person is in critical condition following an overnight fire in Halethorpe.
Around 12:30 a.m., Baltimore County Fire crews received a call for the report of a fire showing near the intersection of Hopkins Avenue and Rittenhouse Avenue.
When crews arrived at the scene, they saw heavy fire coming from a home.
Crews rescued a woman from the dwelling, where she was transported with critical injuries to a local hospital
One firefighter was also transported from what officials are saying were minor injuries.
Halethorpe Volunteer Fire Department also assisted in rescuing the woman from the home.
At this time, the cause of this fire is under investigation.
