All,
We regret to pass on that a volunteer Firefighter from Thomasville (Missouri) was killed after a crash on Thursday night while responding to a fire, on Highway 160 in Oregon County, MO. The area is SW of St Louis and NW of Memphis.
The male Firefighter, 72, was riding the front seat of the engine company, when it ran off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected before traveling off the left side of the roadway, striking a ditch and overturning.
That Firefighter was pronounced dead at the scene. The female Firefighter driving, 66, was transported to a hospital in Memphis with serious injuries. More to follow. Condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
Take Care. Be Careful. Pass It On.
