Where: Church of St. Francis DeSales 129-16 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, Belle Harbor, NY 11694
IMPORTANT:
For those attending Firefighter Timothy Klein’s funeral, parking of personal vehicles and charter buses at Saint Francis DeSales Church and in the surrounding area will not be permitted. The NYPD will be preventing entry of all vehicles from Beach 122nd Street to Beach 145th Street and from Beach Channel Drive to Rockaway Beach Boulevard. Parking for personal vehicles and charter buses will be available at Jacob Riis Park. Entry to the park can be made via the Marine Parkway Bridge.
Shuttle service will be provided from the parking lot at Jacob Riis Park to Saint Francis DeSales Church from 8:30 am until one hour after the final formation is dismissed. Shuttle drop off and pick up from the funeral will be at Beach 142nd Street and Newport Avenue.
Alternate transportation is available through MTA Subways & Buses and NYC Ferry service.
IMPORTANT: For those utilizing the shuttle service and mass transit, masks will be required. Rest In Peace.
