At noon, a fire truck from the city of Quebec was involved in a spectacular crash in the side of the Aqueduct in the St-Sauveur.
According to initial reports, the driver lost control in the coast, just before a sharp curve. The heavy fire truck collided with a first and a second wall, a railing made of reinforced concrete that has been sprayed. On this second impact, the truck veered 913 of its trajectory to finish his run backwards a few dozen feet away.
The fire truck has passed very close to falling into the cliff, the fall would have been catastrophic. The four firefighters who were boarding had a scare seeing the void in front of them. They were not injured, fortunately.
