Here’s a great video related to firefighter training, turnout, response, size up and operations. The fact is that 30 years ago, the home occupants had about 17 minutes to escape a house fire. Today, the occupants now only 3 or 4 minutes. Kind of important information as well for those of you/us/them going to the fire.
Check out this video and consider these facts related to training and operations for us, as firefighters, company officers, commanders and chiefs. This is also very valuable for fire leadership to use in educating local elected officials and related city hall dwellers…make sure you pass it on to them. Or better yet, show it to them before their next chat about residential fire sprinklers with homebuilder associations.
