While working the scene of a crash on I-75 early this morning, a Battalion Chief of Bonita Springs Fire District (SW Florida between Ft Myers & Naples) struck by another vehicle. He suffered critical injuries, and received immediate care from on scene crews, then transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers. The Chief reportedly has severe injuries, and is undergoing treatment. More to follow.
