As you know. FDNY Firefighters pulled a resident to safety in a genuinely heroic roof rope rescue early yesterday morning from that apartment building fire on the Upper East Side that left one person dead.
Rescue 1 FF Jimmy Lee harnessed to the rescue rope, was lowered over the fire to save James Duffy, 81, who was trapped on the fifth floor. Mr. Duffy was burned on his arm, back, and leg, but said he’ll be okay thanks to Firefighter Jimmy Lee.
HERE is a hospital interview with the victim:

Congrats to Rescue 1 FF Jimmy Lee and all the other Firefighters involved with that rescue of Mr. Duffy, for demonstrating once again to the world what Firefighters do.
