A mobile home fire has resulted in 2 Firefighters being flown out and two others transported for burns in North East, Maryland. North East is a community located along I-95 in Cecil County, south of the Delaware State line.
A total of 4 FFs were injured at this morning’s fire with 2 flown via Maryland State Police Medevac and 1 by ambulance to the Bayview (Johns Hopkins-Baltimore) Burn Unit and another to a local hospital.
Current reports are that 1 of the 3 members taken to Bayview is critical/stable, the other is in serious/stable condition with 40-50% burns, the 3rd has a hand injury only and is expected to be released soon. The Firefighter transported locally has been released. A State Trooper was also injured when he pulled a civilian out through a window.
