It appears that three Texas firefighters narrowly escaped being caught up in an exploding truck last week.
Images from Facebook show three firefighters escaping on fire while trying to contain a three-truck crash that left one driver dead on I-10 near Houston. One 18-wheeler and two other heavy trucks were involved in the Aug. 23 crash.
Hazmat units were called to clean up the fuel.
“All of a sudden, I just heard a boom. I turned and the fire started and it was just constantly one after another. All you could hear was boom, boom, a lot of flames in the air,” Rosa Martinez told Fox 26. Martinez placed the 911 call.
