The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is apparently allowing property owners to place spiked trespass deterrents that could cause firefighters to get hurt or cause damage to equipment. One writer claimed that the GA DNR and local law enforcement are saying there is nothing illegal about the steel traps – despite the potential for harm.
