PUTNAM, Conn. (WTNH) — A firefighter suffered a medical emergency, and another was injured while responding to a structure fire Sunday evening in Putnam, according to fire officials.
The firefighter who suffered the medical emergency was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, fire officials said. The other firefighter was injured in a flashover event.
Both firefighters have since been released from the hospital, fire officials said.
