A San Bernardino County firefighter was taken to a hospital after he suffered an electric shock while battling a house fire in San Bernardino Thursday morning, officials said.
The firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center as a precaution, said Eric Sherwin, a Fire Department spokesman.
Firefighters were called to the 800 block of West Campus Way for a structure fire just after 10:30 a.m. After the fire was brought under control, crews realized the firefighter had come in contact with an electrical line. Officers were investigating whether the building was a possible marijuana-grow house, police said.
