One Springfield, Missouri firefighter was injured when a vehicle plowed through a median and struck the firefighter as he was working a motor vehicle crash scene.
According to a Twitter post by Springfield Fire Chief David Pennington, the firefighter was treated and released following the Saturday morning crash.
OzarkFirst.com reported that the driver slammed on the brakes for going through the median.
“Thankfully, they were treated and released without serious injury, but only by Grace,” Chief Pennington’s Twitter post read. “Slow down. Give us some room to work. Please.”
