A Firefighter with the Southeastern Randolph Fire Protection District was seriously injured in a crash on Business Highway 63 while heading to a fire this afternoon. Kenneth McCune, 57, was driving eastbound when he went off the side of the road, hit a culvert and the firetruck overturned and was demolished. McCune was ejected from the truck. He was taken to University Hospital to be treated for his injuries, with no further details. More to follow. KHIYP’s. Another solemn seat belt reminder.
