FIREFIGHTER DEATH ON DUTY-SUICIDE (Texas)

We regret to pass on that Brady Fire/EMS (Texas, NW of Austin) Engineer/EMT William “Bill” Fore, 38, was on-duty and other Firefighters noticed that he missed roll-call at 0745 hours on Wednesday March, 8, 2023. Tragically, they discovered him severely injured from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to the Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, TX, where he passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Fire-Engineer/EMT Fore was a Firefighter/EMT for the City of Brady Fire Department, Brady Volunteer Fire Department and also worked for the Big Lake Fire Department.

He is survived by his mother, Frankie Fore of Brady, wife Linda Fore of Brady, sons Kade Fore and Cooper Fore of Brady. Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
