Midi 5 responded for an EMS call on Chili Ave this afternoon. While the Firefighters and Paramedics were getting ready to leave, an accident happened where the vehicles struck Midi 5 and the Ambulance. Midi 5 requested additional assistance from the Fire Dept and Ambulance. Battalion 2 reported a four vehicle mva with two additional injuries. Engine 7 was special called to assist with ems. A total of four people were transported from the crash plus the original patient they were originally sent for. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
