The Fire Chief of Marion County (Oregon) has been cited for illegal operation of an emergency vehicle, after he crashed his SUV into oncoming traffic on the way to a fire on New Year’s Eve. According to the cops, Chief Henson reached speeds of 62 mph in a department 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe and was seriously injured in the late-morning crash, but is thankfully recovering. The Chief was driving with his lights and sirens on but was trying to pass a truck when the two vehicles collided and his vehicle rolled.
