MANCHESTER, N.H. — A Wentworth fire truck will need minor repairs after trouble on icy roads Monday.
The truck was damaged after crews responded to a fire on Beech Hill Road.
After putting out the fire, the truck hit a patch of ice and slid into a ditch.
Officials said the fire truck was pulled out, and town crews later treated the road with additional sand and salt.
The truck sustained minor damage, and no one was injured.
First responders said the incident is a reminder for drivers to use caution on the roads during winter weather.
